Private Practice Resources

Here are some of my favorite resources for maintaining a private practice. Please note that any link with an * after it is an affiliate link, meaning I (and potentially you!) will receive a financial gain.

Practice Management

All-in-one platforms for practice management tend to be the best for your time and money. These programs offer many services: client notes, electronic intake packets, billing, scheduling, appointment reminders, telehealth, and secure messaging.

  • Simple Practice

  • IntakeQ*

  • Therapy Notes

You can use a la carte programs as well (check for a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) when using these services to ensure the most electronic safety). Not all of them offer that, and that's ok, but be extra cautious with personal health information):

Advertising

Linking people to your services is crucial for referrals. Consider some of the following options:

Build a website

  • Wix

  • SquareSpace

  • WordPress

  • Buy and manage a domain: MediaTemple*; GoDaddy; BlueHost

Referral networks

  • Psychology Today

  • Good Therapy

  • Theravive

  • HelpPro

  • Supervision Today

Business Cards
